STUDIOS FOR HIRE, 36 VIVIAN STREET, WELLINGTON

WPAC has available 6 Studios and one music room for Hire. 

PLEASE NOTE: WPAC is a Tertiary Campus that runs 5 full time tertiary courses, therefore studio space during 8am-4pm weekdays is very limited.  Please call us to find out if we can cater for you.

Due to our updated Health & Safety and Security requirements, all bookings for shows/workshops will incur a Box Office Fee, which pays for a WPAC staff member to be onsite for each performance/workshop.  This includes:

 

• One WPAC trained personal to run the Till Facilities (Eftpos, Cash and Credit Cards)
• Booking system set up online through WPAC website and phone, and collated at WPAC.
• WPAC will deduct the Box Office income from the Hire Fee.  E.G. If your Studio Hire fee is $300, and you earn $200 in Box Office Sales, you will be invoiced for $100 for remaining fee or if your Hire fee is $300 and you earn $400 in box office sales, we will write you a cheque for $100.
• Patrons will reeieve a ticket which you can collate for you own records.  We will provide a print out of the box office accounts from each show.
• WPAC personal will be the fire warden.
• Unless the hirer agree to employ WPAC personal until the end of pack up, the Hirer must provide a person to be trained in fire safety and lock up if packup is longer than 30mins after show end.

WPAC Personal will be on the front desk/box office from 30mins prior to show and 30mins after show ends.  Cost is $20 per hour (starting from 30mins prior to show starting), with a two hour minimum per show.  WPAC reception must be occupied at all times throughout performances. 

 

This service will guarantee the security of the building, have an experienced person to help with all queries, gives your patrons better facilities to pay for and book tickets to your show and will greatly improve the smooth running of your show/workshop.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  No Box Office Fee is required for casual hire (such as dance rehearsals, private workshops, tutoring) during normal WPAC hours: Mon-Thur 9am-7pm, Fri 9am-5pm or Sat 9am-2pm.

 

Advertisement on our website and bill boards comes free of charge for all shows.  Just provide as with a JPEG image for you poster (if applicable).
