AUDITIONS
FOR WELLINGTON PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE COURSES
Entry to most courses is by audition. Audition criteria vary according to the discipline being studied and are specified under the relevant sections. Entry to the Certificate in Creative Arts and Therapies is decided by interview only.
References as to personal character, proficiencies, industry experience and evidence of prior learning and course assessments will assist the audition process.
Auditions will be conducted by an Audition Panel consisting of the Managing Director, the Senior Tutor and at least one other course tutor or independent assessor. The experience and expertise of the panel will cover the relevant entry requirements. Of great importance in the selection process is the applicant’s ability to take direction and commit and engage to the learning process.
