WYTS Intensive

(Tutors: Mel Dodge & pagan Dorgan)

This is an Intensive Drama program that the interested students must audition for.  The program is progressive and the key performance skills of movement, voice, singing, character development and improvisation skills, text work and ensemble are developed.  These classes will suit the child who wants a more intensive experience of Drama.  Classes are twice weekly and commitment for the whole year is an expectation.  There will be half-year and end-of-year productions.

  • Level 1 (9-10 Years old)   1 hour dance/ 1 hour acting session per week.
    Monday 4-5 pm - Dancing with Pagan
    Friday  4-5 pm - Acting with Mel
  • Level 2 (11-12 Years old) 1 hour dance/ 2 hour acting session per week.
    Tuesday 4-6 pm -Acting with Mel
    Friday 4-5 pm Dancing with Pagan
  • Level 3 (13-14 Years old) 1 hour dance/ 2 hour acting session per week.
    Tuesday 4-5 pm - Dancing with Pagan
    Wednesday 4-6 pm Acting with Mel
  • Level 4 (15-16 Years old) 1 hour dance/ 2 hour acting session per week.
    Monday 4-6 - Acting with Mel
    Tuesday 5-6 - Dancing with Pagan

 

WYTS open

(Tutor: Adam Donald)

This is an open class that any child can attend.  Classes run once a week for all levels.  It is a foundation-level program that emphasises play-based learning.  It teaches basic stage craft, text work, ensemble and learning through games and improvisation.  There will be in-house showings at half year and a show at the end of the year.

  • Level 1 (7-8 Year olds)     1 hour session per week.
    Class one - Tuesday 4-5 pm or Class two -Wednesday 4-5 pm
  • Level 2 (9-10 Years old)   1 hour session per week.
    Thursday 4-5 pm
  • Level 3 (11-12 Years old) 1½ hour session per week.
    Thursday 5-6.30pm
  • Level 4 (13-14 Year old)   1½ hour session per week.
    Wednesday 5-6.30 pm
